ACPS elementary students explore their interests, skills, and values as they learn about the world of work. They discuss the 5 C’s of workplace readiness and see how their academic work builds future success. Through Virginia’s career clusters, students discover careers that match their strengths and interests. They also begin creating an Academic and Career Plan Portfolio (ACPP) using the Virginia Wizard Program, which they will develop throughout their school years.

All 7th graders complete Career Investigations, creating an Academic and Career Plan based on their interests. In 8th grade, students can earn high school credit in Digital Applications and Applied Agricultural Concepts.
