Education Foundation Ways to Contribute

Ways to contribute

As a non-profit organization, the Education Foundation is reliant on volunteers and donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. There are several convenient ways to make a contribution.

United Way Certified Agency
The ACPS Education Foundation is eligible to receive donor designations. If your company participates in the United Way campaign, please consider the Education Foundation when making a pledge. To designate to the ACPS Education Foundation, please check the box that says "other" and fill in code 2045.

ACPS Payroll deduction
ACPS employees can easily make a monthly tax-deductible contribution of a designated amount. Please fill out attached form and mail to the Education Foundation or to Cindy Stump in the payroll department. Payroll Deduction Form

VA State Tax Return
Individuals and businesses can make a voluntary contribution via their VA state tax return. Line 24 on VA Form 970 allows you to contribute to various organizations. ACPS Education Foundation code is 009001.

Fundraisers
The Foundation also hosts three fundraisers throughout the year, which include a Back-to-School raffle in August, a holiday luncheon in December, and a golf tournament in June. Advertising these events within your company could substantially increase community participation.
