On September 12, 2023 the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) released the 2022-2023 Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) assessment results. The results showed that Grade 3 through 8 students across the Commonwealth are demonstrating persistent learning loss as a result of the pandemic. In an effort to ensure that students receive intensive and accelerated support to be on pace with their pre-pandemic peers, the state announced the ALL In Tutoring initiative. ALL In Tutoring, Virginia’s high-intensity academic tutoring is a research-based approach to accelerating at-risk students to grade level.
