The Amherst County Education Foundation’s annual fundraising luncheon was held February 4th at Winton Country Club. Thanks to an outstanding performance by the Amherechos and Pause and Listen, the event raised over $4,000. Many thanks go out to Dennis Gilbar for coordinating such amazing entertainment, which demonstrated the fine talent of the students of Amherst County. The Foundation also greatly appreciates the ELMO demonstration by Carla Rasnake and the fine display provided by the ACHS Art department.
Another highlight of the event was the special appearance by the Activity Committee from Glad Manufacturing, which presented a check for $12,000 to the ACPS Education Foundation. Words cannot express how grateful we all are for GLAD!
